This is a small leaf shaped pad. It is folded or rolled, and then tucked in between your labia at the opening of your vagina. This helps add another absorbent layer, especially with “the gush” of your period. The interlabial pads main function is to redirect the flow of your period to more the front and back to reduce the chance of side leaks. An interlabial also works well for incontinence. Urine is a lighter consistency and can come all at once so having another barrier of absorbency will give the actual pad that much needed time to absorb the liquid!
(Interlabials are not meant to be inserted or used internally).
